A US "R" rating would mostly map to MA-15+ here based on past experience with films. As far the ESRB ratings go, an R is equivalent to an AO in the US with some high level ESRB M ratings thrown in. It's hard because of the differences in the age categories between here and there, which is why some US M rated games (17+) miss the MA rating here (15+). As for the internet censorship thing, it doesn't currently exist outside of a test lab and I expect it never will, it's being pushed by a few social conservatives, coincidentally the same ones who hold up an R rating because "games are for children" or some such attitude.
